Self-Destruction from Quick Fixes
Share
It’s a perplexing thought when I think to myself what we do to our own bodies just for the sheer high! I’m being straight up here as now an outsider looking in who has been there, done that and came really close a few times to burning my own t-shirt in more ways than one. As a sober person who is on the other side of the fence, I see bodies self-destructing everywhere. I can guarantee you that on a Global level, there aren’t many families who haven’t been hit some way or another from drug addiction. Thus, acknowledging all of us are confused, bewildered, sad, worried, angry, fearful, loveless, lonely and completely flabbergasted about what the hell happened here?We as human beings are inhabiting bodies which for all intents and purposes is clearly not a recyclable sort of item. We by nature are always seeking to achieve the ultimate nirvana not caring what innocent by-standers we plow down during the high! We don’t have a care in the world other than fulfilling a short-term sensation quickly turning into a long-term addiction. We all have somewhat of an inkling as to what we are doing to our bodies; yet the disease won’t let us stop before the costly consequences from repetitious consumption ravages us. Yet: the body craves - the mind succumbs - the spirit dwindles - the cycle continues - on and onDevastation is clearer than ever yet for some peculiar reason we wake up and do it all over again. The simple hard choice of saying, “No”, to the temptation of whatever the case may be is a healthier alternative than quick fixes which will eventually create endless battles. Pause and think for a second. Is it worth it for the sake of a sensation lasting only a fleeting moment compared to the physical pain which will eventually create utter destruction to the intricately detailed mechanics pertaining to the eleven main organ systems located with precision inside the human body? Eventually our body slowly breaks down from years of wrong choices paving a path to hell on earth. Fun times turns into tragedy. What we loved once we now hate. Wow, what a sick twist to our choices! Very odd how we human beings are the only creatures here on planet Earth that completely allows ourselves to slowly self-destruct, consciously with all free will. The irony of it all is we will finally achieve what we set out to accomplish in death from the substance, which was craved all throughout life as a living, breathing human being. Hmmm, suicide without intent blows me away every time. Self-Destruction to achieve the ultimate nirvana, that will never come till death do us part!
